ACT and SAT – The Know It All System

Know It All Tutors ACT and SAT system is unlike any other.  Our ACT and SAT prep system features comprehensive test preparation with all the strategies you need to know to maximize your score.

Why is it like no other?

Because all of our test prep is done one to one.
Students learn:

• Effective methods of eliminating many choices and determining the best answer.

• When to guess and when to leave an answer blank.

• How the ACT and SAT test makers score the test, and how the test makers create the test. (Once a student thinks like a test maker, they increase their scores tremendously.)

• How to approach all 3 sections of the ACT and SAT exam:

    1. Mathematics – Students learn the essential algebra 1 and 2 and geometry needed. Most importantly, students learn how to divide their time between the three levels of questions, how the answers are formatted into increasing or decreasing order, when to plug in answers to solve problems, which questions to skip, and how to answer the 10 questions that are not multiple choice. Also, students learn how to rule out multiple answers, increasing their chances for success.
    2. Critical Reading – Students learn how to read passages quickly and effectively. Questions that ask for review of specific line numbers learn how to dissect the lines and clearly understand what each question is asking. For sentence completions, students learn vocabulary development, how to determine if a word has a negative, positive, or neutral meaning, how to eliminate answers without understanding the meaning of the words asked, and the difference between easy, middle, and high level questions.
    3. Writing – Students learn how to write a 25-minute essay and how the essay is graded on a score of 2 to 12. How to understand the prompt, and how to appropriately answer the prompt will be emphasized. Effective brainstorming, introductory paragraph creation, steps to writing two to three body paragraphs with supporting details, and how toeffectively conclude will be covered. Students will complete essays at home, as well as do timed essays in class
